My name is Debra. I’m so grateful you’re here!
If life has ever felt way harder than it should, if you’ve spent years masking just to survive, please let Sōtō be proof that someone out here sees you, hears you, and understands your pain. I know it well, it was my life for 37 years.
Five years ago, I was burnt out, lost, and convinced my existence was a mistake, unsurvivable. Standing at a fork in the road, I took one step into the unknown, toward something I couldn't see, but felt in my bones. The journey brought me to my neurodivergent diagnosis and with that came clarity and purpose.
Sōtō is the physical manifestation of that one step, taken day by day, of slowly and imperfectly choosing myself, to love this body and mind I call home, and to the realization that I am enough because I’m alive.
Sōtō was built by a late-diagnosed AuDHDer to support neurodivergent life. Because despite how the world may make you feel about your own value, the irrefutable truth is your needs are valid, you belong here, and you matter because you're alive!
